"You have been learning the basics of draping– how to allow the fabric to drape around the dress form, transfer to a pattern and use to replicate your designs. In addition, being able to design on the dress form is a n art of fashion that has been used by Dior, Channel, and other couture designers. These draping basics are fundamentals that can help you make garments, but more importantly help you in your future job in the industry.
For this project, you will create an original skirt using the draping skills you have learned."
